Georgia Safety Reshad Jones Leaving Campus As Well

As the Bulldog Turns...

Last time we left this soap opera, the quarterback and the running back had announced they were leaving town. A junior cornerback soon followed suit.

Now, Georgia safety Reshad Jones is giving out signals that he, too, will be leaving campus for the NFL draft.
"I'm probably leaning toward leaving, but I'll know for sure in the morning," Jones said.
This came after Sports Information Director Claude Felton said Tuesday that Georgia's safety was planning on returning.
Hard to think that Jones' draft advisory report changed overnight, but evidently Jones' mind did.
Jones said he feels like the time is right for him to end his collegiate career, however his coaches evidently disagree. Jones is projected by most mock drafts to be a second-day pick for an NFL team.
If Jones does indeed clean out his locker at UGA's Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall, that would make two offensive and two defensive defections.
Just Tuesday, defensive back Asher Allen surprised Dawg fans with his announcement that he was forgoing his senior season. And last wee,k both Matt Stafford and Knowshon Moreno made their decisions to opt for the draft public.
Defensive tackles Jeff Owens and Geno Atkins have both stated that they were returning next season.
Surely their phones will be ringing late into the night for assurances that they are still in Athens.
