Ok, this RAW was actually worth watching.
Stephanie McMahon came out with her shrill voice, adulated that her Father, Vincent Kennedy McMahon was coming back on next weeks RAW, when she was interrupted by Y2J. After some words, Steph Fired! Jericho.
My interpretation of this is that we Will see Chris Jericho at the Rumble, maybe even win it. There is speculation he may have needed time off for personally reasons, but this looks like another set-up the Real CEO of WWE Inc, Linda McMahon will rehire Y2J, just in enough time for him to be another surprise entrant into the Royal Rumble, and possibly win it.
Next up is Rey Mysterio and The Miz. Rey-Rey wins the match only to be attacked by Mike Knox, again, after the match. This angle is going nowhere, and fast.
Intercontinental Champion William Regal was forced this week to take on C.M. Punk again after getting himself dq’d last week intentionally, prompting Stephanie McMahon to issue this weeks rematch. The match barely got started before C.M Punk, himself was disqualified for a punch to the stomach, the ref deemed as a “low blow.”
AS Regal left to the backstage area, Stephanie came back and ordered that next week, Regal and Punk were to meet up for a third and final match to determine who is the real IC Champ! Oh, and this one is No DQ!
I see C.M. Punk coming away the winner next week.
Next is Randy K. Orton taking on the big Red Machine, Kane. This was a brutal and great match, however Kane got screwed by the referee, when he was pinned for the three count, when his right shoulder was clearly up.
As Orton was gloating the win, and Cody Rhodes still at ringside, Manu and Sim Snuka come out with a surprise “backup”, Ted DiBiase Jr.
As the three men enter the ring, Cody Rhodes finally gets in the ring, being previously challenged by Manu and Snuka as “You are with us or against us.” As the staredown goes on for about two minutes, Orton, Rhodes, And what’s this? DiBiase attack Manu and Snuka.
After a thorough beat down, Legacy leaves the ring, seemingly in tact.
Afterwards Legacy is in the back, discussing the Rumble, with Orton making it clear he can be the only winner.
