Bleacher ReportJun 4, 2018

Over the last few months, the wrestling world has been speculating if Jim Ross will be announcing at the biggest event in pro wrestling, WrestleMania XXVIII.

The latest rumors that have circulated throughout the Internet and the various wrestling dirt-sheets is that Ross may call the Hell in a Cell Match between Triple H and The Undertaker.

Those rumors are in fact just that, according to Jim Ross' official Twitter account.

Yesterday, a fan offered congratulations to Ross for landing the job of calling the Triple H/Undertaker match, and Ross sent the following reply:

"

Not sure how that got started. News 2 me. Just a rumor. RT @NDTrash: @JRsBBQ Calling Taker v HHH maybe If so Congrats and I'm ordering Mania

Ross also commented on another fan's question regarding the calling of the Triple H/Undertaker Match:

"

"

It remains to be seen if Ross really will be at WrestleMania XXVIII and if he's withholding his true status from the Internet Wrestling Community.

With 19 days left until the Super Bowl of professional wrestling, not having Jim Ross at the announce table would indeed be a travesty.

A lot can happen in 19 days, so wrestling fans should keep their fingers crossed to have the greatest announcer in professional wrestling call what most likely will be the WWE's match of the year.
