Big Ten Tournament 2012: Ohio State Beats Rival Michigan to Advance to Final
A few months after Eli Manning and Mario Manningham put on a show in Indianapolis in the Super Bowl, Jared Sullinger and his Ohio State Buckeyes once again dazzled the city in Indiana.
For the third year in a row, Ohio State beat their archrival Michigan in the Big Ten tournament. This installment was just a classic 77-55 blowout.
The Wolverines looked dazed and confused. They could not handle what the Buckeyes were throwing at them.
Jared Sullinger had 24 points, six rebounds and an assist. Deshaun Thomas added 22 points and six rebounds.
Michigan had no answer for guard William Buford, who dazzled with 10 points, four rebounds and two assists.
Ohio State now advances to the Big Ten tournament championship game for the fourth year in a row, where the Buckeyes will take on Michigan State for the second time in just a week.
Last week Ohio State shocked Sparty at home to split up the Big Ten title.
Michigan State will definitely be looking for revenge after that 72-70 loss at the hands of these same Buckeyes.
The Spartans were able to outlast Wisconsin and earn this grudge match with a confident Ohio State team.

Who Will Win the Championship?
This should come as no surprise.
Sullinger completely dominated Michigan in every way possible.
He scored with ease, putting up 24 points. He prevented Michigan from scoring, notching two blocks and a steal.
But his contributions extend from the stat line. Sullinger has emerged as a leader for Ohio State.
He needed just 27 minutes to pour in six rebounds and dominate the Maize and Blue.
