NBA Trade Rumors: Would the Wizards Trade for Andrew Bogut?

The Washington Wizards are reportedly going after Andrew Bogut, but will they seriously make a run for him?

The team currently has JaVale McGee at center, but McGee has been at odds with the coaching staff all season and doesn't seem to be in the Wizards' future plans.

The Wizards should look to capitalize on his current value and look for a franchise center. This is where Andrew Bogut comes in.

Bogut has career averages of 12.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 2.0 blocks and 52% shooting from the field. He is one of the few offensively gifted traditional centers in the league and he can be a physical defender.

There is a downside to Bogut. He can't seem to stay healthy. His rookie season is the only season in which he played all 82 games. He has only played over 70 games in a season twice.

If he is healthy, he is a solid player but that is a big if. It would be unwise to trade McGee for Bogut considering they have no idea what they will get out of him. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, Bogut is out for the season.

Are two years of Bogut at $27 million worth making a deal?

Personally I'm not sold, but here's a possible trade that could work out for both sides.
