Coach Questions Beck's Personality 🤔
I would love to hear your takes in the comments section below.
Is utilizing a "pay for performance" system worse than blatant cheating that may have changed the fate of multiple Super Bowls? Is bountygate being scrutinized by some more because spygate involved the New England Patriots?
These questions and more come to mind. I urge each of you to take a look at the aforementioned column linked above.
Who Should be Held to the Highest Accountability Level in Regard to the Bounty Program?
Howard Balzer of 101sports.com posted an excellent piece that I highly recommend reading.
Balzer not only deals with who should be held most accountable in the bountygate fiasco, but also looks at how bountygate may incur a greater wrath than the years of flat-out cheating that occurred by the Patriots and spygate.
Rams Restricted Free Agents: Staying or Going?
Ron Clements of cbssports.com takes a look at four St. Louis restricted free agents and shares his belief of whether each will ultimately stay or go. He takes a brief look at wide receiver Danny Amendola, fullback Brit Miller, defensive end CJ Ah You and safety Darian Stewart.
2012 Free Agency: Top Five Defensive Line and Defensive Tackles Available
Nick Wagoner of stlouisrams.com produced a piece looking at the St. Louis defensive line as well players who are expected to be available once the free agency period jumps off on March 13.
Some of the best options available, according to Wagoner, include defensive end/tackle Jason Jones of Tennessee (who played for Jeff Fisher there), defensive tackle Sione Pouha of the New York Jets and defensive end Mario Williams of Houston.
Randy Moss Tryout "Couldn't Have Gone Better"
According to a source for Pro Football Talk as shared in this article, the workout for the Saints by wide receiver Randy Moss "couldn't have gone better." In the same piece, Jay Glazer of Fox Sports was quoted as saying that Moss "looked like the old Randy" during his audition.
Adam Schefter of ESPN asserts that two more unidentified teams will watch Moss perform next week, according to this article from profootballtalk.nbcsports.com, so it appears that there is some legitimate interest in the 35-year-old future Hall of Famer.
Steven Jackson: Hollywood Bound
According to this article from NFL Communications, Steven Jackson will be one of 20 current and former players to participate in the first ever NFL Pro Hollywood Boot Camp in Universal City, California.
Some other players taking part include Terrell Suggs of Baltimore and D'Brickashaw Ferguson of the New York Jets.
