The Arizona Cardinals finally gained a home playoff game and actually made it to the playoffs this year since they haven’t been to the playoffs since 1998. But the downside was that they had to play the upstart 11-5 Atlanta Falcons. A big game had to come from both Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald and yes that did happen.

Kurt Warner threw two touchdown passes for 271 yards and also threw and interception. He was 19/32. Stepping up was Larry Fitzgerald who had six receptions for 101 yards and caught a touchdown pass along with teammate Anquan Boldin who had two receptions for 72 yards.

Surprisingly running back Edgerrin James rushed for 73 yards on 16 carries which was more yards than he averaged for the past couple of weeks.

However, the game wasn’t all Arizona. Atlanta did put on a threat in the fourth quarter making the game within four points but Arizona recorded a safety to seal the deal and maintain the win 30-24.

For Atlanta, Matt Ryan threw for 199 yards and two touchdown passes while also throwing two picks. Michael Turner was not a factor as he only gained 42 yards
