WWE News: Frustration over WWE Network to Cause Even More Huge Changes to WWE
The WWE Network has been a controversial topic basically since the announcement of its launch was made last Fall, with some wondering whether the channel could succeed and others wondering if Vince McMahon has the right pieces in place to run it.
Things haven’t gotten any better, either.
We’ve already seen a number of major executives part ways with the company and a ton of changes to its infrastructure, but it appears as if even more shakeups could be on the way.

Punk Responds to Reigns, More Rumors 🤫
From SEScoops.com:
"A well placed source with intimate knowledge of the situation has exclusively told SEScoops that “no one is safe” within the WWE hierarchy, as it becomes apparent the WWE Network launch date will not meet with Vince McMahon’s expectations.
According to our WWE insider, McMahon and Executive Producer Kevin Dunn had high hopes for the network, and had placed “Project Evergreen” (a series of shows that can play for the next 100 years) on the fast track in order to launch the network within the original timeframe Vince had promised people within the company.
But without a development executive and an official head of the network (besides McMahon himself), the reality of the network is looming large over the heads of everyone in WWE, and last week’s front office shakeups seem to just be the beginning. “Vince is ready to do what he calls GET OUT THE BROOM,” our source told us. “No one’s job is safe in WWE at this moment!”
"
Anyone else think that the WWE Network is turning into more of a headache for the company than an asset?
While the idea of the network looks great on paper, frustration over problems with the launch of the network has already caused wholesale changes to the company, and it seems like the continuing problems are only causing more chaos backstage.
It’s become pretty clear that, from the very beginning, there was never any concrete plan in place for the WWE Network, its launch, its programming and its staff. WWE officials just kind of expected everything to work out.
News flash: That’s obviously not going to happen.
The WWE Network still hasn’t gotten the major clearances it needs, it certainly won’t be ready to launch by WrestleMania 28, and no one seems to be sure that it will even succeed.
In fact, with the way things are shaping up, the WWE Network is well on its way to being a major failure for Vince and the WWE.
Vince is going to continue to make changes to the company’s hierarchy because every situation needs a scapegoat, but to be honest, I don’t think any firing is going to do that much until the WWE Network has a clear leader and a definitive sense of direction.
