Wade Barrett Injury: Christian, Alberto Del Rio and WWE Heels Who Must Step Up

In the main event of Monday’s edition of Raw, WWE superstar Wade Barrett was injured outside the ring in a move that looked to hurt Dolph Ziggler more initially.
From the WWE website:
WWE.com has learned that during Raw SuperShow's 10-Man Battle Royal, Wade Barrett suffered a partial dislocation of his left elbow Monday night. Barrett will undergo an MRI for further evaluation in the coming days and will be out of action for at least 6 to 8 weeks. Will Wade Barrett Be Missed?
With another injury to a top heel in the company, it’s time for guys to dig deep and give it all they got to carry them through for awhile. All of the following superstars will be expected to come up huge.

Since Bryan has the whiny role down, it would be great to see Christian come off as a strong heel that would do anything to win, reminiscent of Eddie Guerrero.
As good as Barrett was, I have always felt that Christian was a much better worker than he got credit for and his mic skills are great. When Chris Jericho leaves again, I think a feud between Christian and CM Punk would be a good place to start.
Alberto Del Rio

If the need for heels already didn’t speed up Del Rio’s return, the injury to Barrett will almost certainly do so. The WWE needs Del Rio in a feud and fast.
Del Rio hasn’t gotten better on the mic and is a very good in-ring worker. Put him in this heel alliance or do whatever; the WWE just needs him back on television. I was thinking Alberto Del Rio vs. Randy Orton.
Daniel Bryan

With a serious lack of strong heels, Bryan holding the belt through WrestleMania will look as heelish as ever, especially if he wins by DQ or by cheating somehow.
Even if Bryan losses to Sheamus at WrestleMania, as long as they do it in a way that doesn’t bury Bryan too bad, he can still be viewed as a serious heel.
