The only one-on-one match of this Sunday’s PPV Elimination Chamber that will involve an ambulance, it’s time to start getting excited about John Cena vs. Kane.

The feud between the two hasn’t been great—in fact if you called it awkward, I wouldn’t argue. But clearly the creative team has been pushing this in our faces for a reason. The payoff has to be coming for an epic match and I think this Sunday will finally give fans what they want.

Cena is the favorite, and the pretty boy will likely get out to the early lead. He is, after all, preparing for his giant showdown with The Rock at WrestleMania. That’s why I’m giving him the slight edge here.

Cena has to be at his peak heading into his Rock match and losing to Kane now would damper that. It’s pretty obvious that Zack Ryder will crash the festivities at some point, with the always-annoying Eve not too far behind. The different dynamics are going to create an extra-long match that will provide endless two-counts and plenty of big moves.

Kane isn’t the most thrilling character right now while Cena continues to be one of the biggest names the sport has to offer, which is a terrific setup for a shocking change of events.

Right now, Cena is losing fanfare and the crowd seems to be turning on him. After Raw last week where Ryder wheeled out to talk some junk to Cena, it’s becoming clear that he is losing allies very quickly.

So maybe Kane has the edge after all.

That’s what makes this match so intriguing. Does the creative team want to make Cena seem untouchable before his highly anticipated fight against The Rock? Or do they continue to allow his heel turn to the point where fans are happy to watch him get beat down with an ambulance as the backdrop?

It's going to be incredibly physical and the danger level is pretty high because it's an ambulance match.

Who knows?

And that’s why this is the best match of the night.
