In case anybody missed it, the St. Louis Rams landed a new general manager, Les Snead of the Atlanta Falcons, the second straight GM hire from the Falcons organization. Billy Devaney, the Rams' former GM, was the first. He was fired on January 2 along with former head coach Steve Spagnuolo.
As for Snead, Peter King of Sports Illustrated is one of many who are heralding his hiring.

Steelers Owner Gives Rodgers Update
Former Tennessee Titans guard Jacob Bell, who played for Fisher in Nashville, has expressed interest in re-signing with St. Louis, according to this article Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. That article also takes a look at the rest of the Rams' free agents.
According to the Detroit Free Press as reported by the Turf Show Times, Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan may be targeted by the Detroit Lions. Finnegan is a free agent and has expressed interest in considering playing for Fisher again, as he did when Fisher was head coach there.
Finally, for those in the St. Louis area, you can go to the St. Louis Rams official website and book Rams mascot Rampage for Valentine's Day. He will be personally delivering roses today and tomorrow to area schools, homes and businesses.
