Welcome to the first "Weekly Weekend Question and Answer Session" regarding any and all things St. Louis Rams. Each weekend, I will share my answers from questions I have received here and/or via my Twitter page/inbox.

This first edition of the Q and A will be brief as I only began promoting it at the end of the week.  I encourage you to submit your questions in the comment section below or at my aforementioned Twitter account.

As much fun as it might be, I will only be answering questions here that are focused or related to the St. Louis Rams.

Let's begin:

@Shane: What St.Louis team has more winning success the next 5 years, Rams or Cards?  And if Rams do you think St.Louis will become a football town?  I actually do because if u like at Indianapolis it was a basketball town but the Pacers got bad and the Colts emerged.  I think St. Louis will become a football town.

My reply: Great point on Rams becoming even more of a football town. I agree that it is possible. Do you remember the short-lived greatest show on turf years when that talk was going around? Imagine getting this lease extended significantly and the Rams becoming a perennially good team under Fisher, somewhat like a Pittsburgh, for example.

With Pujols gone and the continual rise of the NFL, I can see it happening, as unfathomable as that may be to some.

@Shane: I know u made one last year but who would be your breakout candidates for the Rams in 2012?

My reply: Breakout candidates for 2012 regarding current Rams: Offense- Greg Salas... 2nd choice... Lance Kendricks. Defense- Robert Quinn... 2nd choice... Jerome Murphy.

@Shane: What was the medical condition regarding the release of Jason Olafioye? Must be a heart condition or something..

My reply: That I have not been able to find out yet, Zac. Will share info in that regard if/when I find out...I am wondering if it might be something like that as well.

@Shane: As for the lease issue, I know its not over 'til its over but do you think this will be completed by June?

My reply: I don't know for sure of the date (as we have discussed) but am very confident of an end result that ultimately sees the Rams finishing the full lease through 2025 and then working towards a new stadium, as it will be time for one by then (30 years for the Edward Jones Dome).

If the CVC plays this right, they can not only lock the Rams in through 2025, but make progress beyond that regarding a new stadium, too.

Thanks once again for checking in. Please submit your questions for next week below or after any upcoming articles in the next week.  Again, you are also encouraged to submit questions via my Twitter page.  The selected questions will be displayed here next week.
