WWE SmackDown: 5 Reasons Natalya Is Being Used Perfectly Right Now

I enjoyed WWE SmackDown this past week. For the first time in a few weeks, the Red Brand had a better show than the Blue Brand. Just my opinion!

However, there were many talking points coming out of Friday night. Sheamus and Cody Rhodes had a fun match. AJ returned to further the feud between Big Show and Daniel Bryan.

Even Hacksaw Jim Duggan wrestled!

Even with all that, most of the WWE Universe is talking about Natalya! Yes, Nattie Neidhart is a major topic these days with fans. As usually is the case, the reaction is negative.

Shocking, I know.

Well, I am here to let everybody know that I have zero problems with how she is being "portrayed" on WWE TV right now. Use all the jokes you want. Say whatever you choose. In my mind, I see nothing wrong with her role right now.

Here are my reasons why:

1. Nattie is a talented performer. It doesn't matter if she is a face, a heel or even the dreaded "tweener." Yes, she is best as a heel, but she can make any role work. Funny? Intense? She can make anything work, and I have full confidence her newest storyline will be no different.

2. Would you rather her not be on WWE TV at all? She is getting some time each and every week in front of millions of people. I can't see how that is a bad thing. Many women all around the world would love to be in her "spot" right now.

3. I can take a step back and realize WWE is entertainment. Last I checked, their show was rated PG. Correct me if I am wrong here, but that seems to indicate a younger target audience. Not everything is going to be serious and "break the fourth wall." Sometimes, it is perfectly acceptable to laugh, folks.

4. She has been used as a straight forward "great wrestler" for years now. It hasn't worked! Spin it any way you want, but her past few years has not gotten her "over" in any major way. Perhaps this will give her new life as a WWE diva?

5. Finally, this is all temporary. All stories are temporary. This one will be no different. It could last another week, another month or maybe longer. Who cares? Eventually, it will end, and Nattie will be used in a different light again.

If you like it, enjoy it! If not, ride it out for a little while longer. It will eventually come to an end...
