WWE Needs John Cena to Interrupt the Rock on 'The Tonight Show' with Jay Leno

When The Rock takes the stage of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, John Cena needs to interrupt the visit and throw down with the People’s Champ.
Cena needs to steal the spotlight like The Rock did from him at WrestleMania. Embrace the hate, you might say.
Should John Cena Interrupt The Rock's Tonight Show Appearance?
Consider the appearance. NBC.com is promoting that the show will feature The Rock and teen superstar Miranda Crosgrove. With a heavy audience of younger people, what better place to let Cena make his appearance and start the road to WrestleMania.
As if the audience wasn’t a good enough reason, the fact that the show is taped earlier in the day is enough to have Cena in Los Angeles and flown out to Oklahoma City for the live edition of Raw. His appearance on Raw would also keep the suspense of his surprise arrival on the Tonight Show.
The Rock has continually beaten down on Cena verbally, but a recent change in philosophy lends itself to a confrontation that wouldn’t necessarily have to be PG being on the Tonight Show. This is Cena's time to turn into Randy Orton with a voice.
Cena ranted on Twitter like WWE wants to send a message to people that the change in character is here. Please note WWE's commitment to having their stars sell their storylines on Twitter (i.e. Chris Jericho):
With the mainstream popularity of Jay Leno and the kind of exposure he sees every day, this feud building in WrestleMania would have more casual fans truly interested in it than diehard fans of wrestling.
Isn’t that what WrestleMania is about anyway?
People will see the Rock and Cena fist-fighting on Leno and want to see the video or talk about it at work. Non-wrestling fans would have a vested interest in WrestleMania. When people are interested, they buy the PPV.
That’s why WWE should pull this off. That and it would be awesome.
