Thanks for reading, see you soon.
Robin van Persie (3), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (2), Mikel Arteta and Thierry Henry are the scorers for Arsenal, while Morten Gamst Pedersen scored direct from a free kick for Blackburn.
Gael Givet didn't help his team's cause by getting shown a straight red card in the first half, but Blackburn were already well behind by then.
A much better day for Arsene Wenger, but back to the drawing board for Steve Kean who must be dreading going back to Ewood Park for the next game after this result. Their next game, against QPR, will be absolutely massive in the relegation stakes.
A massive win in every way for Arsenal, who jump back up into fifth place with those three points.
Utter desperation and despair for Steve Kean and his Blackburn Rovers side who were behind within a minute and a half of the game starting, and never looked capable of doing anything to halt Arsenal, even when they were briefly level before half time.
Full time at the Emirates Stadium
Arsenal 7 Blackburn Rovers 1
Well, if there was one more goal it was always going to be Henry wasn't it?
Hanley is caught in possession and Henry is away through the middle.
The pace of old is gone and he has to wait for van Persie to support him, and the resulting one-two allows Henry the chance to shoot at goal.
The shot is deflected and flies past Robinson into the centre of the goal for his first Arsenal strike in the Premier League for five years and one day.
GOAL!!!!
Thierry Henry, 93 mins
Arsenal 7 Blackburn 1
91 mins
Arsenal winding down the clock here and the stadium is half empty.
van Persie's cross is half headed out but it falls for Benayoun—who's chest and half-volley shot goes straight at Paul Robinson.
Three minutes of time to be added on...and Blackburn have just won their first corner of the game.
Nothing came of it.
89 mins
Is there time for one more goal in the game? Things have certainly slowed down over the last 15 minutes with all the subs and fouls, but maybe someone will have one last spark of creativity or burst of energy.
Or lack of concentration.
87 mins
Rovers finally get into the Arsenal box but Pedersen's pass to Modeste is too hard and he cannot control the ball.
Nzonzi then pulls over Henry and is maybe lucky not to get a second yellow for a blatant tug-back as the forward sought to get away from him in the middle.
86 mins
25 minutes now with no goal in the game.
What are Arsenal playing at?!
van Persie goes to ground after a coming together with Grant Hanley, who is certainly a stocky type, but the challenge was fair enough.
Thomas Vermaelen is shown a yellow card.
All rather needless at this point. He went through the back of Modeste on the half-way line, with no Rovers player in close attendance.
Silly.
82 mins
van Persie and Walcott swap passes as the Gunners cut through Blackburn once more, and Walcott stands up a cross towards Henry on the back post—but Orr just gets enough on it to clear.
Then Henry tries a stab at goal from the edge of the box, but Robinson can watch it slide wide.
81 mins
A little under ten more minutes for Blackburn to suffer through.
80 mins
Henry feeds Rosicky and he tries to wiggle his way into space to shoot but Dann just manages to get a toe on the ball and slide it away from the Czech midfielder.
Good tackle.
As it stands, conceding this many goals has seen Blackburn drop one place in the Premier League on goal difference. Down to 19th now.
78 mins
Paul Robinson boots a back-pass from his six yard box to the Arsenal half.
That's about the limit of Blackburn's ambition in this half.
77 mins
Henry skips past one challenge and wants to do the same to the second, but just loses his footing and has to try and tackle the ball through to van Persie, but loses it in the end.
Benayoun tries to pressure the Rovers defence into losing the ball in their own area, but concedes the foul.
75 mins
The away side get it clear though with a firm header out by Hanley.
Back come Arsenal again though...
...Coquelin clips over a cross from the right, looking for Henry, but it doesn't quite reach him.
This match is being played totally in Blackburn's half of the pitch.
74 mins
Free kick to Arsenal on the right edge of the box after Benayoun is pushed to ground.
van Persie is over the ball and his left foot delivery could cause more problems here for Rovers.
72 mins
Arsenal content to just play the ball about and look for the opening.
Chances are that Rovers will provide them with one with their terrible, abject defending.
Sagna crosses from the left into the six yard box and Hanley has to scramble it behind, with Robinson far from looking like dealing with it.
An 11th Arsenal corner, to Rovers' zero, ends with a Cruyff-turn and shot over the bar from Coquelin from outside the box.
Third change for the home side, Benayoun comes on for Alex Song.
70 mins
Tomas Rosicky tries to get onto the end of a through-pass from Song, but Rovers crowd him out and the ball runs behind for a corner.
Yossi Benayoun is ready to come on for Arsenal.
68 mins
Song, Coquelin and van Persie interchange passes outside the box before the latter slides a pass through to the furthest forward Gunner—Per Mertesacker.
Needless to say he's not quite on the same wavelength and Rovers scramble the ball clear.
Six for Arsenal already and Thierry Henry has just come on—can he add to his long-standing Arsenal tally with his first Premier League goal in five years?
66 mins
Hanley steps out of defence to intercept the ball as Song and Walcott look to link up on the edge of the box again.
A moment later Walcott gets behind the defence again and sees his cross put behind for a corner.
Two Arsenal subs, Henry on for Oxlade-Chamberlain, who gets a massive roar of approval as he leaves the pitch, and Sagna comes on for Koscielny.
