Peat Spurns His Brother and Nebraska

For most of the recruiting cycle, I've felt that Nebraska had the inside track on Andrus Peat. I'm not the only one who felt this way, but it turns out that feeling was wrong.

Peat surprised many today by opting to sign with Stanford instead of jumping at the chance to play with his brother Todd.

Nebraska's coaching staff has to be sitting in Lincoln in shock right now.

Greenberry Signs with Houston

Deontay Greenberry has signed with Houston, over Notre Dame. This has to go down as one of the most surprising flip flops in recent history and a puzzling one.

He took a trip to Houston last week, and it must have gone well enough for him to spurn Notre Dame for a non-BCS program. But you have to start to wonder, with his talent and if Houston keeps their spread offense, how sick are his numbers going to be?

Toshiro Davis Spurns LSU for Texas

Davis has signed with Texas instead of LSU, according to sources telling ESPNU's Holly Rowe. More to come soon.

Dawson Switches to UGA

Vanderbilt has dipped in and out of my top 25 rankings, which is a coup in itself for James Franklin. However, they got some bad news today as Josh Dawson, a talented 6'4", 225-pound DE prospect has de-committed and switched to Georgia.

Fowler Finally Flip Flops for Florida

It's finally happened. Dante Fowler, the stud DE prospect out of the Sunshine State and former Florida State commit, has spurned the Noles for the arch rival Gators. Big pick up for Will Muschamp.

Washington Surging Late

After losing out on Zach Banner and Joshua Garnett this past week, Steave Sarkisian must be singing "Don't cry for me Seattle", as he's been just fine.

Sark has landed Shaq Thompson, Jordan Payton and Jayden Mickens as a of late and Dawgs are barking loudly in the Pac-12 North recruiting scene.

Washington has a chance to nestle into the top 25 classes.

Howard Chooses to Be Golden

Tracy Howard has just committed to Miami, which is a surprise as many felt it was Florida and Florida State for him. This is a huge coup for Al Golden and the Miami program, as Howard joins Duke Johnson and Jelani Hamilton as jewels of the Cane class.

Bralon Addison to Oregon, Spurns Texas A&M

Who saw this coming? Addison was a one-time Oklahoma State pledge that backed off in favor of Texas A&M. He appeared to be headed to the Aggies in the recent weeks, but now has committed to Oregon in a shocker.

It's starting already.
