Lord have mercy. I'm a huge football fan and Victor Cruz is a beast, but Rocsi of 106 & Park just made the little bit of hair on my head stand up. The video is described as a Salsa battle, but it was more like a Salsa lesson from a beautiful and sexy Latina to a husky, awkward football player.
Of course, I'm a little biased, as Rocsi's "style"—yeah, that's how I'll put it—is more appealing to me. As the Giants WR prepares for the Super Bowl, he won't get a better lesson in any film session all week.
Cruz who is of Puerto-Rican and African-American descent, has often done a salsa dance after TDs to honor his Puerto-Rican heritage. The BET's 106 & Park is a television show that features an urban music countdown and Rocsi is one of the show's hosts.
The set was decked out with a football theme to recognize the upcoming Super Bowl and Cruz's appearance. He did his best, but when placed next to a far more experienced dancer like Rocsi, let's just say we can see why he catches passes for a living.
Once Rocsi began to swerve in ways Cruz was anatomically incapable of, he might as well had waived the white flag. Cruz recently turned down an invitation to Dancing With the Stars because he didn't feel like he'd reached a point in his career where he could do something like that.
Well Victor, from what I saw in this video, you've already danced with a star.
