WWE Raw Preview: Kane's Attacks, Jericho's Silence, and Royal Rumble Build-Up

Once again the WWE Raw and Smackdown superstars will be in house for Monday Night Raw in another Supershow.

WWE Raw comes to us tonight from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

With the Royal Rumble just two weeks away, a clearer picture painted on that big pay-per-view event as well as some Rumble participants announced.

After last week's missed call in CM Punk and Jack Swagger's match, Swagger has been awarded a title match.

Zack Ryder will defend his US Championship against Swagger, and with the distractions of Kane, this could be the end of Ryder's championship run.

Speaking of Kane, I anticipate his torment of John Cena to continue this week until Cena realizes that he has to turn into a villain (heel) in order for this to stop.

It's odd to have all of this going on while Cena is preparing for a match with The Rock at WrestleMania 28, but I guess that it will make more sense once mania gets a little closer.

R-Truth should continue his stalking of The Miz this week, leading up to a match between the two at the Royal Rumble.  I expect that match to be announced tonight.

Chris Jericho should make another appearance for the third straight week, and I doubt he will say a word until the night after the Royal Rumble.

I fully anticipate this silence to continue until Jericho enters and possibly wins the Rumble match.

One thing is for sure, after this weeks edition of Raw, the WWE Universe should have a better idea of what to expect heading into the Royal Rumble.

I just hope we get a chance to see the "Funkasaurus" Brodus Clay again!
