Happy New Year, Buff fans, from CU At the Game!
To get 2009 started off right, there is an entirely new set of articles waiting for you at http://www.cuatthegame.com
Were you sleeping in when the Buffs received the best news of the new year early on Jan. 1? Diante Jackson, a four-star wide receiver prospect from Walnut Creek, California, became the Buffs’ 10th commit.
Colorado also picked up another offensive lineman this holiday season in Gus Handler from Barrington, Illinois.
Read about these two commits (Diante Jackson is profiled in this week’s "Recruiting Spotlight"), along with news about what players still have official visits to make to Boulder in the next few weeks.
Pop quiz: why are the internet sites all abuzz about a Jan. 16 visit from a one-star prospect to whom the Buffs have yet to make an offer?.
2008: Post-Season Post Mortem
A unit-by-unit review of how the Buffs fared in 2008, along with a "First look" at how each unit is shaping up for 2009 (best unit grade: defensive backs; worst unit grade: ... I’ll bet you can guess).
Essay: "Bowl Wins: Precursor of Future Success?"

The crack CU At the Game staff (okay, that would be me) took a look at how Colorado has fared the season after each of its 12 bowl victories, a look at how the Buffs fared the season after each of its 16 bowl losses, and, just for fun, a look at how CU has followed up the last 16 times the team has failed to make a bowl. The results are worthy of discussion ....
Plus: Just for Fun

Plus: "Guest Archivist" - ...to be named at a later date. I received no new submissions over the holidays. Okay, party’s over, Buff fans!
