WWE Rumors: Undertaker Against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 28 Will Save WWE

World Wrestling Entertainment is a giant company that doesn’t depend on any one star to survive.

With that said, the company is dependent upon its talent for the drawing power they possess.

The drawing power a match between Undertaker and Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania has would be enough to not only take over the main event spot from John Cena and The Rock, it has the potential to make this year’s show the biggest pay-per-view of all time.

It also has the power to save the company.

While the idea of getting Brock Lesnar back into a WWE ring still seems very far-fetched, four months is a long time, and money can do wonders for a person’s opinion of another. In other words, if Vinny Mac pays Brock the big money, Brock will make WWE big money in return.

Ringside Report’s Masked Hernandez is reporting about the WWE’s plans for the Undertaker:

The Undertaker looks like he’s on a crash course with former UFC Champ Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, but Pompadour heard that Chris Jericho or Triple H are still in the running, brother…if Brock can’t bring the pain. You know that these two boys have their differences and they were sat down by Vince to iron them out, but there is still room for Triple H to use his power to take the spot and Jericho has been getting a good reaction on the rebound, brother.

There is no doubt that more eyes would be on the Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar fight than anything John Cena and The Rock will do. All of the publicity from Brock Lesnar’s tenure in the UFC has made him a household name and much more popular to the non-WWE and casual WWE fans.

Undertaker is also much more of a star than John Cena, especially on WrestleMania night. Add Brock Lesnar to that mix and you have what could be the most memorable of all 20 of Undertaker’s WrestleMania victories.

With that much hype around a match, there will be plenty of new fans coming to the WWE to follow Lesnar’s career, which could possibly take off again with another stint in wrestling.

This plan will only work if Brock agrees to continue fighting in the WWE for at least a few months after the Undertaker match at WrestleMania. Lesnar will bring in the people who don’t watch much wrestling and will bring the sagging Raw ratings to all new highs.

While Jericho and Triple H would both be great opponents, we just saw the slow Triple H vs. Undertaker match last year, which was mediocre at best.

Jericho would put on a solid show with Undertaker, but it’s the underlying feud between Lesnar and Undertaker that has lingered for so many years that would make fans tune in.

Getting Lesnar to come to WWE will not be easy, but it’s amazing what money and Vince McMahon can convince a man to do.
