Peter Forsberg: Not This Season

Francois GendronSenior Writer IFebruary 19, 2008

Free agent Peter Forsberg will not sign a contract with any NHL team for the remainder of the '07-'08 season.

The star player has decided to stay home and not risk a return to the ice because of the condition of his injuried foot. Many teams were ready to negoiate with the free agent for the last stretch of the season.

The NHL teams looking for reinforcement for the rest of the season will have to look elsewhere.

Who has the more money to spend before the end of the season?
