BCS Rankings: Complete Standings, Twitter Reaction and More
On Saturday, the Boise State Broncos suffered their first loss of the season to the TCU Horned Frogs. A short while later, the Stanford Cardinal suffered their first loss to the Oregon Ducks.
Make no mistake, BCS madness will ensue. We're going to find out just how mad things are when the BCS rankings for Week 12 are released later on this evening (8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN).
With Boise State and Stanford losing, there's going to be some shakeup in the Top 10. Arrangements will have to be made outside the Top 10 as well. When they are made, the BCS picture will be in focus.
For all the latest news and analysis concerning the Week 12 BCS rankings, just keep it here. There will be much to discuss, and we aim to discuss as much as possible.

In case you haven't yet seen the Week 12 BCS rankings, scroll down a bit and feast your eyes.
As you will see, there's definitely plenty of things to talk about. Specifically, a lot of attention is being paid to how the various one-loss teams stack up, not to mention the fates of Boise State and Stanford after both schools suffered their first losses.
You can get a good idea how people are reacting by heading to Twitter.
Here's one fan who thinks Stanford dropped a little too far after its loss, but who also thinks Boise State got off easy:
It's an interesting point, but there doesn't seem to be much to it other than your garden-variety Boise State hate. As much as people love to hate the Broncos, the voters and the computers tend to give them the benefit of the doubt.
However, it's possible that Boise State will miss out on a BCS berth to another BCS buster. I'll let Sam Khan, Jr. of the Houston Chronicle explain:
Anybody who claims to have predicted such a thing at the start of the season would be lying. How 'bout them Cougars?
As far as the one-loss teams at the top are concerned, there is a little outrage that Oregon is not the highest-ranked one-loss team ahead of Alabama.
Here's how one fan justified Oregon's case:
It's a good point, but good luck getting the computers to care. They do take location into account, but margin of victory is something they overlook completely.
There are some who think Oklahoma should be the top one-loss team, but at least one fan has the good sense to realize how bad Oklahoma's loss to Texas Tech truly was:
Make no mistake, losing to the Red Raiders was a huge slip-up. That the Sooners lost to them at home makes it even worse.
Meanwhile, some fans are pretty miffed that Arkansas is No. 6. Seeing as how the Hogs' only loss was to Alabama, perhaps they should be a little higher.
Here's one fan who was annoyed that the Hogs weren't even being discussed on "BCS Countdown":
As if that wasn't bad enough, this fan pointed out that Arkansas' prospects weren't even being discussed:
For the record, Arkansas vs. LSU will happen on Nov. 25. It will be the final game of the regular season for both teams, and it's going to be huge.
So have patience, Hogs fans. Your team still has a shot to prove it belongs.

The BCS rankings aren't due out for another hour or so, but we do have some BCS projections from CBS Sports' Jerry Palm to discuss in the meantime.
Most notably, Palm has Stanford falling from No. 4 to No. 8 and Boise State falling from No. 5 to No. 10 after their respective losses. He has Oregon taking over for Stanford at No. 4, and TCU climbing to No. 20.
Also worth noting is that Palm has Houston staying put at No. 11. I, for one, could see the Cougars getting a bump ahead of Boise State, but I guess we shall see.
