SEC Championship 2015: Alabama vs. Florida Live Stream, TV Info and Schedule
The Alabama Crimson Tide and the Florida Gators are traditional SEC powers, as they've played in the conference title game more than any other team, but this matchup doesn't have the feel of two powerhouses battling it out on the gridiron.
Instead, it's a game in which the teams have three combined losses and are coming off underwhelming performances in the final week of the regular season.
Florida was embarrassed in a Week 13 home loss to the Florida State Seminoles 27-2, and Alabama needed a late touchdown to pull away from an Auburn Tigers team that is now 2-6 in SEC play.

Nonetheless, both teams have worked their way to the top, and a win will earn one of them the conference championship. While it will bring Florida bragging rights, it's a must-win for an Alabama team ranked No. 2 in the College Football Playoff if it wants to win an 11th national title.
Here is a look at how you can watch the game on television or online.

The Gators won a below-average SEC East division that saw only three out of seven teams win more than two conference games. Prior to the Florida State debacle, Florida scratched out victories against lesser teams such as the Vanderbilt Commodores (9-7) and the Florida Atlantic Owls (20-14).
It also barely held off a 5-7 Kentucky Wildcats team 14-9 in its third game of the season.
Alabama is 11-1, but a down SEC raised questions about how good the Crimson Tide are.
They played six teams that were ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 poll at game time, but only three are currently ranked in the poll: the Ole Miss Rebels (16), the LSU Tigers (23) and the Wisconsin Badgers (25).
Odds Shark thinks Alabama has the better resume. Despite winning just one more game, it is favored by 17 points.
Florida head coach Jim McElwain had some fun with reporters when he was told the Gators are the second-largest underdogs in SEC championship history, according to Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times:
On a more serious note, McElwain pointed out the fact that nobody expected the Gators to be where they are today, per Mark Long of the Associated Press:
McElwain is right that most people thought Florida had no chance of playing in this game. It is coming off a 7-5 season and failed to win even nine games in four of the past five years. In 2013, it was 4-8.
After a 6-0 start in 2015, Florida was rolling. However, its starting quarterback, Will Grier, was suspended after testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance.
Florida lost its next game to LSU but then ran off four consecutive victories before the Florida State game.
Sophomore quarterback Treon Harris has filled in well enough, but his 53.7 percent completion percentage and eight touchdowns to four interceptions won't strike fear in the heart of the Alabama defense.
The Crimson Tide had a tough moment earlier in their season as well, as they were embarrassed at home by Ole Miss, allowing 43 points in a six-point loss. They proceeded to win their next nine games, never allowing more than 23 points.
Their offense hasn't been too shabby either. An afterthought early in the season, running back Derrick Henry has put himself in the middle of the Heisman Trophy race with 1,797 yards and 22 touchdowns.
The SEC Network showed how dominant Henry can be, providing this stat after Alabama's Iron Bowl win in Week 13:
The Gators defense has been solid, allowing just 15.5 points per game, less than all but one team in the SEC. The problem: Alabama is that one team, allowing just 14.3 points per game.
Henry has shown he can run on anyone, eclipsing the 100-yard mark in all but one of his team's eight SEC games and breaking 200 yards four times.
Quarterback Jake Coker has not been as statistically impressive as other recent Alabama quarterbacks, but he has completed 65.4 percent of his passes and has cut down on his turnovers, throwing just two of his eight interceptions the past six games.
McElwain praised the Crimson Tide when talking with the media about his team's preparation for the game, per Scott Carter of GatorZone.com:
"It’s something special. You’ve got two fan bases that split the stadium and the energy that’s in there because they’re all true fans. It’s a huge challenge. We’re playing the best team in college football. We’re a program on the rise, and we’re a program that’s going to continue to get better.
"
Whether Alabama is the best team in college football is up for debate, but it is the better team in this game.
Head coach Nick Saban, who has three SEC titles under his belt, will ride his star running back and stout defense to a second straight conference championship and a seventh straight win for the West division.
Prediction: Alabama 34, Florida 16
