Khalid Henderson replied to a question on his twitter account that he would be visiting the University of Kentucky on January 27.

With the visit coming so close to national signing day (along with Henderson's previously expressed interest in Kentucky), this could be a good sign that the excellent four-star linebacker from Georgia may be wearing blue and white this fall.

Henderson was formerly committed to the University of Tennessee, but decommitted after Derek Dooley told him that he wasn't sure if the scholarship he had offered him would still be available.

Michael Carvell of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution interviewed Henderson, who had this to say about Dooley's uncertainty about his status as part of the Volunteers's 2012 recruiting class:

"I thought it was a bunch of crap. I guess if Tennessee is out there looking for other linebackers, then I can go find another place to go. Tennessee is where I wanted to go, and that’s where I’ve been loyal to ever since June. But it is what it is."

Along with Henderson, the Wildcats are making good progress with another former Tennessee recruit, four-star running back Imani Cross.

It looks like the Vols may be giving Kentucky more than just its first head-to-head football victory in 26 years.
