College Football 2011: The Best Highlight from Each Week of the Season

With the regular season behind us, college football fans are enjoying the holiday and bowl seasons at the same time.
The good news about the bowl season is we are treated to some outstanding matchups but the bad news is it means the season is almost over, which will leave us with a long wait for the 2012 season.
Before the bowl season ends, here is a look back at the best play from each week of the 2011 season.
Week 1: Tyrann Mathieu vs. Oregon
The legend of the Honey Badger began in the first week of the season. With Oregon up by three and getting the ball, watch Tyrann Mathieu turn this game around in a hurry.
Week 2: The Big House Explodes
Hosting its first night game, Michigan fans were in for a treat with the Wolverines taking on the Fighting Irish.
With time running out in the game, watch Denard Robinson throw a pass that sent the fans home happy.
Week 3: Sammy Watkins Goes the Distance
Sammy Watkins had an incredible year and will be an outstanding weapon for Clemson next year. Watch him take this catch in stride and explode past the Auburn defenders.
Week 4: Stephen Hill Climbs the Ladder
While Georgia Tech is known for its ability to run the ball, late in the first quarter, they turned to the air for the highlight of this week.
Watch as Stephen Hill goes way up with one hand to pull down this catch.
Week 5: Andrew Luck Amazes
Coming into the year, everyone in the nation knew that Andrew Luck could throw the ball all over the field. What we didn't know is the amazing hands he has, displayed in this early game against UCLA.
Week 6: Brad Wing with an Almost Great Play
If you can excuse the penalty for celebrating before he got into the end zone, Brad Wing put himself on the highlight reels around the nation with this fake punt play.
Week 7: Richardson Starts and Stops
On his way to a Heisman worthy season, Trent Richardson had highlights throughout the year but none better than this run. Watch Richardson shake this Ole Miss defender when it appeared he had run out of room.
Week 8: Hail Mary Part One
If your a Wisconsin fan, turn your head and skip the next two slides.
This first game between Wisconsin and Michigan State was a thriller and came all the way down to this last throw by Kirk Cousins.
Week 9: Hail Mary Part Two
Luck did not get much better the next week as Wisconsin traveled to Ohio State. After suffering a last second Hail Mary to Michigan State, watch the Buckeyes make things much worse for the Badgers.
Week 10: Jeff Demps Brings a Defender to His Knees
While going up against Vanderbilt, Florida found success on the ground and Jeff Demps provided the highlight.
Late in the fourth quarter, Demps put a move on a Vanderbilt defender that makes him fall to his knee.
Week 11: Joe Adams with the Play of the Year
Joe Adams left people at a loss for words with this return. While going up against Tennessee, Adams caught this punt and the rest you have to see to believe.
Week 12: Robert Griffin Locks Up the Heisman
After a great year to this point, Robert Griffin put his stamp on the season. Watch as Griffin turns a shot at beating Oklahoma into a reality.
Week 13: Denard Robinson Delivers a Win
It had been a long time since the Wolverines beat Ohio State, but they finally got it done this year. Watch as Robinson takes this QB keeper to the house.
Week 14: The Badgers Strike Back
With the game on the line, Wisconsin finally got revenge for the awful luck they had earlier in the year.
Facing a fourth down, watch Russell Wilson complete a prayer of his own.
Week 15: Huge Hit Between Army and Navy
With the nation's full attention, Army and Navy went up against each other as the only game on the schedule.
On an Army punt, watch as the long snapper gets down field and lays a big hit and the return man.
