What BCS college football team plays like Superman?

What BCS college football teams play more like Batman, Spiderman or Iron Man?

Every team has their own certain superhero characteristics, some good... some not so good. 

Nevertheless, these are the teams that some of the most powerful superheroes represent. 

Oklahoma

Juggernaut

BCS Rank: 14

Oklahoma, just like the Juggernaut, is a force to be reckoned with.

On most days foes don't even stand a chance and usually end up getting smashed.

His only weakness is when he removes his helmet and is susceptible to the telepathic powers of others.

When Oklahoma loses focus and lets teams get in their head, this unstoppable force is brought to its knees.

Nevertheless, the biggest and baddest dude on the block somehow never seems to win the big one and is often outsmarted by a much smaller foe.

Wisconsin

Transformers

BCS Rank: 10

If there is one team in the country that has transformed into an elite team, it's Wisconsin.

Even though the Badgers went to the Rose Bowl last year, this is a brand new team with a brand new leader.

Russell Wilson is Optimus Prime and leads this group of autobots that has added a deadly passing attack to an already lethal run game.

South Carolina

Cyclops

When focused, Cyclops is nearly unstoppable.

He can control his optical beam and use it tactically to take out some of his most powerful enemies. However, when he is rattled and his glasses are knocked off, he loses control of his unique power and chaos ensues.

When focused, the Gamecocks can beat anyone. They have to tools to be one of the best teams in the country, yet many times they let their emotions get the best of them.

Whether it is a game with multiple turnovers or a key player getting suspended, the Gamecocks are always one or two steps away from being an elite team.

Kansas State

Yoda

BCS Rank: 8

Kansas State is led by the old and wise Bill Synder. Like Yoda, Snyder sensed greatness within his team.

Yoda taught the ways of the force to his young padawan Obi Wan, just as Synder is teaching his young quarterback Colin Klein.

The force is strong with Klein who leads his team in both passing and rushing.

Boise State

Spiderman

BCS Rank: 7

Spiderman is vastly underrated, just like Boise State.

Spiderman is quick, smart, innovative and efficient in what he does, just like the Broncos.

The players at Boise State may be smaller and not as strong as most players at BCS schools, but to Boise, like Spiderman, it's all about heart.

Even though they beat some of the best football teams in the country, they are still not seen as one of the elite teams.

Arkansas

Wonder Woman

BCS Rank: 6

Wonder Woman is one of the most powerful superheroes ever.

However, she is still not seen as one of the best.

Like Arkansas, she has the speed, power and stamina to defeat most of her foes.

Unfortunately, against the very best, she can compete for a little while but eventually is no match. The same can be said about the Razorbacks.

Oregon

Flash

BCS Rank: 5

Oregon, like the Flash, travels at warp speed.

Oregon averages around three plays per minute and seem to never get tired. Simply because the Ducks play at the speed of light, most teams cannot compete.

Yet with all that speed and stamina, the Ducks lack the knockout power needed to beat the absolute best.

Stanford

Iron Man

Stanford is comparable to Stark Industries: smart, popular and wealthy.

What makes Stark Industries so popular is their most powerful weapon, Andrew Luck.

Luck has thrown for 3170 yards and 35 touchdowns. He has every device you can imagine to take his career to the next level.

Every NFL team without a proven quarterback wants what Stanford is selling.

Oklahoma State

Batman

Oklahoma State uses a high-tech, flashy offense to defeat their opponents, just like Batman uses high-tech flashy gadgets to defeat his.

T. Boone Pickens, aka Bruce Wayne, has the financial capability to build the facilities and keep the coaches needed to compete on an elite level.

There is no doubting that Batman is great, but is he better than Superman? Some may think so. However, this question can't be answered until they square off head to head.

LSU

Superman

Faster than a speeding bullet: Yes!

More powerful than a locomotive: Yes!

Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound: Yes!

LSU can do it all. They have proven to be unstoppable, beating seven ranked teams by averaging 38 points a game and only allowing 10. LSU, like Superman, appears to be invincible.  There is nothing this team can not do.

However, there is one team that gave them everything they could handle and in the end just might be their kryptonite.

Alabama

Lex Luthor

BCS Rank: 2

If there is anyone out there who can stop Superman, it's Lex Luthor.

Alabama came within a couple of missed field goals of defeating LSU earlier this year.

Alabama has the kryptonite needed to defeat Superman, and they are dying for the chance to use it again. The Tide is not scared of LSU, just like Lex Luthor does not fear Superman.

Alabama is the only team that can tug on Superman's cape and get away with it.
