B/R Talks with Legendary Running Back Barry Sanders About Heisman House
Bleacher Report recently got the opportunity to talk with 1988 Heisman winner Barry Sanders about his new Nissan Heisman House campaign and his thoughts on college football.
If you ever wondered what a "Real World" episode geared towards college football fans would look like, then you’re in luck, because "Heisman House" is just the show for you.
Tune into ABC before the start of the Saturday night game to catch new episodes of Heisman House all season long.
Here’s what Barry had to say about being in the house with other esteemed Heisman winners.
“Shooting the Nissan Heisman House commercials was a blast. Any time you get that many great football players in a room, there are a lot of great stories and a lot of fun.
Since we all share winning the Heisman, there is this bond among us all.
Having gone through such an amazing experience at such a young age is something we all share. It was great hearing some of their experiences in winning the trophy."
Barry also wants you to go out and vote.
“Nowadays, fans have as much access to game broadcasts as the media and coaches do.
"I think that having the fans as part of the vote is great. At the end of the day any voting is so subjective no matter who the voters are, I think all the finalists each year are so worthy, whoever wins can make a case.
"Look at my year… Troy Aikman, Steve Walsh, Rodney Peete, they all had such tremendous years.
You could make a strong case for any of us.”
So remember to tune into "Heisman House," airing on ABC right before the start of the Saturday night game of the week.
Also, remember to show your support and vote for your favorite Heisman winner.
