College Football Week 2 TV Schedule: Complete TV Listings and Live Stream Info

Welcome back, one and all, to the second week of the Ultimate College Football Television Viewing Guide. We are almost through the first week as (depending on when you read this) the Miami Hurricanes and Maryland Terrapins will have either already played or are waiting to finish their game because of rain, lighting or any other weather element that may postpone or delay their game.

This week Notre Dame—featuring whichever quarterback Notre Dame’s head coach Brian Kelly decides to start—heads to Michigan for our game of the week. Will there be another rain and lightning storm? Or will the lightning be from Michigan’s quarterback Denard Robinson, as he torches the Notre Dame defense?

But before we can look forward to another great week, let’s take a look back at some talking points that you can have with your friends, family and significant others who couldn't care less about how you predicted the South Florida victory over Notre Dame.

Note: That last one (USF over ND) prompted this conversation between myself and my wife:

Me: See, I told you USF would win this game. They have gone 12-1 over the last three years in games in September.

Mrs. Mac: Right, but how much time is left in the game?

Me: (Noticing it’s only 13-0 and in the 2nd quarter) Still another two-and-a-half quarters, but look. I’m right.

Mrs. Mac: Didn’t we just watch Auburn come back from down 10 in the last five minutes, and didn’t we see TCU come back from even worse on Friday night?

Me: Yeah, but... but... but I called it.

Mrs. Mac: Let’s just wait till the end of the game before you start doing the "I’m so right" chest thumping.

The joke is on her, I was right all along! In the end, it won me some Chick-fil-A. Waffle fries are the sweetest taste of victory after a prediction done right

Okay, enough with my back and forth with my wife. You want to know some talking points for the next week of games. Take a look below to see if and when your team happens to be on one of the ESPN channels.

3:30 AM

Alabama (2) @ Penn State

Penn State’s head coach Joe Paterno coached against former Alabama coach Bear Bryant. Joe Paterno is old....really old.

Nevada @ Oregon (3)

For you gamblers, take the over and Oregon BIG this week.

Stanford (7) @ Duke

See what I just said for Oregon and apply that to Stanford as well.

TCU (14) @ Air Force

Do the defending Rose Bowl Champions, TCU, star the year at 0-2?

Eastern Illinois @ Northwestern

Big-Ten Network

Northwestern QB Dan Persa didn’t suit up last week. Is this the first week we see the Heisman hopeful in action?

New mexico State @ Minnesota

Big-Ten Network

Minnesota put up a great effort against USC in Southern Cal last week losing 17-19.

North Carolina St. @ Wake Forest

Who needs that QB (Russell Wilson) that left NCST for Wisconsin. NCST put up 43 points in their home opener.

Cocky started slow last week against East Carolina. That was until Stephan Garcia came in and reclaimed his place as the leader of the South Carolina offense.

Rhode Island @ Syracuse

Cuse with a thrilling victory in overtime against Wake Forrest last week. Do they go 2-0 after this week?

5:00 PM

North Dakota @ Idaho

FSU has another tune up game before Oklahoma comes into town next week.

Southern Illinois @ Ole Miss

UAB @ Florida (22)

Florida has another week to fine tune their offense under John Brantley.

Ball State @ South Florida

Both of these teams come into the game at 1-0. However, the BCS Title dreams of Ball State will come to an end this week.

Virginia @ Indiana

Big-Ten Network

I’ll let my wife do this fun fact: “We lost against Ball State, God we suck.” Thanks honey.

Navy @ Western Kentucky

Navy likes to run the ball, find someone to bet you over/under 250 yards running for Navy and take the over and laugh at your friend as they owe you money.

Houston @ North Texas

A great story for Houston’s quarterback Case Kennum as he is back for another year as Houston’s quarterback.

BYU @ Texas

Hey this game is on ESPN-2 and not the Longhorn Network. You know that Network that exists only in the minds of UT officials.

Memphis @ Arkansas State

If you’re betting on this game you have serious problems. WIth that being said take Ark State.

Central Arkansas @ Louisiana Tech

Same with this game, flip a coin for your bet.

Grambling St. @ Louisiana-Monroe

Watch this game for the band. No seriously it’s like Nick Cannon in Drum Line.

Utah’s first official conference game in the Pac 12. Let’s see how many times USC’s coach Lane Kiffin opts to not kick the extra point.

Connecticut @ Vanderbilt

Vandy opened the season with a big win against Elon University. Because any win for Vandy is a big win.

8:00 PM

Northwestern St. @ LSU (4)

LSU rolled against Oregon, so this means this week they’ll struggle against Northwestern St. just because Les Miles wants to screw with the Tigers fan base.

Notre Dame (16) at Michigan

The first game at Michigan Stadium to be played under the lights. And ND’s coach Brian Kelly will let his QB’s play Rock-Paper-Scissors to determine who stars.

Weber St. @ Utah St

And finally this game could either be Utah State by 40 points or a collapse after what happened in Auburn last week.
