Maryland (-1) over Florida State

This game's all about Maryland's home field advantage.  The Terps haven't lost at home this year, and they are coming off a real good win over North Carolina 17-15.

Maryland has won the last two at home over the Seminoles.

Florida State got pushed around by Boston College's big offensive line.  They are a little banged up and Ponder, FSU's QB, threw three picks...one went for a touchdown.

It's uncertain as to who is or is not suspended for FSU and what effect this will have on the game.  This one looks like Maryland should be in the driver's seat all the way.

Vanderbilt (-3) over Tennessee

Tennessee's season hit the skids last week when they lost at home to a weak Wyoming team.  In their last three games, all losses, the Vols have averaged just eight points on  offense.

Tennessee's coaching situation is in limbo with Fulmer still on the sidelines.

Vandy is coming off a 31-24 road win at Kentucky.  They have a chance to win eight games this season.  This game has a lot of meaning for the Dores.

In this long rivalry Tennessee has dominated, but Vandy won in 2005, lost by five in 2004, and lost by one last year.  They've played the Vols tough, and they know they can win this game, so they will deliver the knockout in the late third quarter or early fourth.

Rutgers (-17) over Army

Army (3-7) has lost their last two and goes into Rutgers Stadium without a good win this year.

Rutgers is on a roll.  They've turned their season around after starting 1-5 and are on a four-game winning streak.  They've averaged 45 pts/game in their last three games, which include road wins against Pitt and South Florida.

Rutgers' offense is balanced, the defense is making big plays, and 50 points is probably well within reach for the Scarlet Knights.  This game should be over by halftime.  BEST BET OF THE DAY!
