College Football Recruiting: I'Tavius Mathers and 10 Underrated Running Backs
The 2012 recruiting class is loaded at the running back position.
Many of the top backs have already committed, but a number of other athletes at the position are still mulling their options.
William Mahone, Rushel Shell and Wes Brown are uncommitted running backs who are receiving the most hype right now.
However, there are many other running backs who are deserving of recognition.

10. Jela Duncan
1 of 10Rated as a 3-Star prospect by Rivals.com, Jela Duncan is a player who hasn't received much attention.
He has excellent speed as witnessed by his 4.5 time in the 40.
Jela Duncan is also a great student who has achieved a 3.5 grade point average.
Duke, East Carolina, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Wake Forest and Western Michigan have offered.
9. Danny Dillard
2 of 10Danny Dillard of Venice (FL) High School has been rated as a 3-Star prospect by Rivals.com.
He has excellent size for a running back at 6'2", 205.
Boston College, Georgia Tech, Illinois, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Central Florida and Western Kentucky are among the offers he has received.
8. Tevin Coleman
3 of 10Oak Forest (IL) High running back Tevin Coleman has received offers from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northern Illinois, Purdue, Syracuse, Toledo and Western Michigan.
A 3-Star prospect according to Rivals.com, Tevin Coleman has also been rated 37th overall at his position.
He'll most likely serve the role of a power back as a 6'1", 190-pound athlete.
7. Torry Clayton
4 of 10Torry Clayton is in an interesting situation. He has expressed his love for Florida State over all others, but has not received a scholarship offer from the Seminoles.
It is expected that Florida State will be offering soon.
If they don't, Torry Clayton will still have offers from Ball State, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Memphis, UAB, Central Florida and Western Michigan on the table.
6. Dominic Bryan
5 of 10It's not very often that you find a running back who is 6'1", 225 pounds with a 4.5 time in the 40.
Georgetown Prep's Dominic Bryan is one of them.
He may be one of the best kept secrets in the nation as he has only received offers from Boston College, Maryland, Navy and Vanderbilt.
5. Chris Brown
6 of 10Chris Brown of San Joaquin Memorial High School in Fresno has been rated as a 3-Star prospect by Rivals.com.
He certainly hasn't remained in the shadows as he has received offers from many school including Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Colorado State, Fresno State, Missouri, New Mexico, Oregon State, Purdue, San Jose State, UNLV, Utah, Washington and Washington State.
4. Dami Ayoola
7 of 10St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale never fails to produce some of the nation's top prospects.
Running back Dami Ayoola is the gem of their 2012 crop.
Auburn, Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, FIU, Illinois, Iowa, Memphis, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Rutgers, South Florida, Central Florida, Wake Forest, West Virginia and Wisconsin have offered.
3. Barry Sanders
8 of 10The son of former NFL star Barry Sanders is trying to make his own way and get out from under his father's shadow.
Rated as a 4-Star prospect by Rivals.com, Barry Sanders has narrowed his list to Alabama, Florida State, Oklahoma State and Stanford.
There is certainly a lot of pressure for him to stay in-state as he is the top rated prospect in Oklahoma and the because of the fact that his father played at Oklahoma State.
2. KeiVarae Russell
9 of 10KeiVarae Russell of Mariner High School in Everett, Washington has been rated as a 4-Star prospect by Rivals.com.
A 6'0", 170-pound athlete, he has been clocked at 4.6 seconds in the 40.
KeiVarae Russell's agility and quickness are what have been attracting the big time programs.
He has received offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, California, Colorado, Idaho, Notre Dame, Oregon State, Purdue, Stanford, UCLA, Utah, Vanderbilt, Washington, Washington State and Wyoming.
He has only taken one visit so far which was to Notre Dame last season.
1. I'Tavius Mathers
10 of 10I'Tavius Mathers of Blackman High in Murfeesboro, Tennessee may be the most underrated running back in the 2012 class.
He has excellent size (6'0", 195 pounds) and speed (4.5 seconds in the 40).
His offer list includes Alabama, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi and Mississippi State, among others.
