LSU seems like the front runner for Jermauria Rasco.
Jemauria Rasco remains one of the nation's top-ranked recruits yet to commit heading into National Signing Day.
Rasco, of course, is ranked No. 17 among perhaps the most talented group of defensive ends we've ever seen.
The Louisiana native is reportedly down to LSU, Florida and Florida State and is doing anything but rushing his decision. Set to make his announcement known tomorrow on National Signing Day, Rasco took his official visit to Florida this past weekend and remains split between his finalists.
Rasco has seen a major push from the Gators since Will Muschamp took over at the helm for Urban Meyer.
Rasco is reportedly receiving much advice from his high school coordinator Byron Dawson, who played at LSU.
Rasco is reportedly leaning towards LSU, leading us to think the highly-touted defensive end will stay in state and play for the Tigers.
LSU has compiled a fantastic defensive group in its 2011 recruiting class. Led by defensive tackle Anthony Johnson, a 5-star recruit, the Tigers defensive unit is off to a fantastic start. The addition of Rasco would add the outside component to help LSU compete in the SEC for years to come.
The Tigers also have 4-star Mickey Johnson lined up at defensive tackle and a host of versatile defensive players committed for next fall.
Adding Rasco will help LSU push for what could be one of the best recruiting classes in the SEC as the recruiting season comes to a close.
