Notre Dame Gets Aaron Lynch and Ishaq Williams: Who's Next For The Irish?
Irish eyes were beaming through last week as Notre Dame finally hauled in two terrific defensive end recruits. Ishaq Williams and Aaron Lynch finally made their intentions known and chose to play in South Bend.
Landing these two players was imperative for the Irish class, yet the Golden Domers are not about to wrap up their recruiting efforts just yet.
Who's next to wear a gold helmet?
Touchdown Jesus & Jacoby
1 of 6
Jacoby Brissett is athletic, 6'5", 225-pound quarterback who the Irish covet.
Aside from possessing tremendous size and athleticism, Brissett also has very good arm strength which would allow him to make all the throws on cold fall and winter Saturdays in South Bend. Brissett also knows when and how to put touch and air on his balls to make correct throws in critical situations. He can also attack the edges and move the pocket to roll out and make throws on the run.
He's played his high school ball with Nick O'Leary, the nation's top tight end prospect. While they have developed a great rapport, many question if Brissett has the overall field vision to go through his progressions. Playing with a target like O'Leary, it's easy to lock on him during every passing play.
Notre Dame Vs. The Field

Brissett took a visit to South Bend in mid-November and really loved what he saw and exerienced during his trip.
He's also trekked to LSU and Wisconsin. Yet, as things look right now, Brissett is leaning toward Florida State with Wisconsin making a huge push as well.
The Irish have a little work to do to climb back up to the Brissett forefront, but nothing is official until signing day.
Niklas To South Bend?
3 of 6
Troy Niklas, a 6'7" 250 pound offensive tackle prospect from Servite (CA) is another recruit the Irish will look to finish with.
Niklas is very light on his feet and can slide/mirror defensive ends with ease. He plays with good knee bend on a tall frame and uses his long arms to keep defenders out and way form his body. He has solid movement to pull and can get to the second level to make blocks.
He stalls in the run game due to his lack of bulk ad will certainly need to gain weight and strength in college. He can over extend at times and has problems with speed to power type rushers.
Irish Standing For Troy?

Niklas is down to USC, Notre Dame and Stanford as his final three schools.
This will be a busy recruiting month for him as he is slated to visit all three schools with a Stanford visit this past weekend, USC due to see him this weekend, and Notre Dame next weekend.
The key position for the Irish is they secured the final visit, which means they will have the final impression before signing day. Could Notre Dame being so fresh on Niklas' mind before he signs his letter of intent indeed deliver him to the Irish? Stay tuned.
Salivating For Savon
5 of 6
Savon Huggins of St. Peter's Prep (NJ) is among the most talented running backs in the country.
Huggins has the potential and physical build to become an every down back on the college level, a rare feat in today's game. Huggins is 6'0", 190-pounds and has the quickness and burst through the hole to jump on top of linebackers. He has the speed to to get outside and turn the corner, while also factoring as a receiver out of the backfield.
Huggins must learn the pass protection schemes of his offense and get stronger at the point of attack vs. oncoming blitzers. Also having the awareness to chip ends to help tackles when releasing up field must be improved.
Huggins Hugging Notre Dame?
6 of 6
Along with Notre Dame, Huggins is down to Rutgers, Michigan State, North Carolina and Auburn.
He visited South Bend is mid-October, and recently visited Michigan State. Hometown Rutgers will host him this weekend. When the process began, the consensus was Huggins would select Notre Dame in part because he currently attends a Catholic school.
Huggins has done a solid job of not tipping his hand and has always called his recruitment open. Speculation now has Rutgers winning out, but any school in his top five has an equal chance, including Notre Dame.
