To Whom It May Concern,

This letter is to inform, and help persuade you that the University of Georgia is where you should play college football next season. If you are worthy of receiving this letter, odds are, you have gotten many offers from some of college football's elite programs. Hopefully after reading this, you will decide that the University of Georgia is the one for you.

One of the many reasons UGA is a supreme destination for future college football athletes, is the campus.

Athens, Georgia has been ranked by some publications as the Nation's top college town, and is in the top five of most publications. Downtown Athens is a mecca for college students. Also known as the Classic City, there is something for all tastes within walking distance of campus. Please, while enjoying the downtown nightlife, keep in mind that you carry the reputation of our esteemed establishment.

Your goal, as a student athlete, is either gain a degree or prepare to become a professional athlete. At the University of Georgia you will do both.

Academics at the Universtiy of Georgia are second to none, and our athletes are expected to perform in the classroom. In years pass, the Georgia football program has finished near the top of the conference in cumulative G.P.A.'s.

If you want to make the move into the National Football League, maybe you could talk to Super Bowl M.V.P.'s Hines Ward or Terrell Davis, both graduates of UGA. Ward along with Matthew Stafford, Knowshon Moreno, Thomas Davis, Asher Allen, Tim Jennings, Mohammad Massaquoi, Jeff Owens and many others are still active professional football players.

Most importantly, when someone says Georgia Football, the first word that comes to mind is tradition. Tradition, that you can become part of, just by committing. As soon as you take the field on your first gameday, you will be wearing the iconic "Silver Britches." You will take part in such activities as the Dawg Walk and ringing the Chapel bell after a big win.

You will play in the annual Cocktail Party in Jacksonville, Florida against the Florida Gators. Running out of the tunnel to take the field "Between the Hedges," will likely be one of your fondest memories of your football career as will continuing the dominance over arch-rival Georgia Tech.

Please, when considering where you will spend the next four years of your life, pick somewhere you can always be proud of. The opportunities are limitless here at the University of Georgia. Do yourself a favor, give UGA a chance, you will not regret it. Do not forget, that every student is granted the gift of a pet when you arrive on campus. That pet is the most famous dog in America, and a Damn Good Dawg at that, UGA VIII.
