
BCS Bowl Projections: Which Bowls Will SEC Teams Be Playing In?
The SEC has long staked its claim to being the best conference in college football.
Owning the last four championships has established the dominance of this conference over all others.
But will that dominance continue?
That remains to be seen.
While we wait for the season to get over, here are some bowl destination prognostications for your reading pleasure.

Kentucky Wildcats: BBVA Compass Bowl, Jan. 8

Kentucky football has been nothing to write home about this season. However, with the play of wide receiver Randall Cobb, the Wildcats find themselves bowl eligible.
The Wildcats should play in the BBVA Compass Bowl against an opponent from the Big Least...oops, Big East.
With only a game against Tennessee standing in their way, expect to see the Wildcats finish the regular season on a high note and begin preparing for a trip too Birmingham.

Georgia Bullogs: Autozone Liberty Bowl, Dec. 31

A.J. Green has made his mark as possibly the best wide receiver in the country this season.
Georgia has made another mark, and it's rather painful.
The 'Dawgs will have to win next week against fierce rival, Georgia Tech, in order to become bowl eligible.

Bowl Info - Autozone Liberty Bowl; Memphis, Tennessee; Dec. 31, 2:30 p.m.
Affiliations - The Liberty Bowl generally takes a team from the SEC to play the Conference USA champ.
Mississippi State Bulldogs: Music City Bowl, Dec. 30

The Bulldogs and quarterback Chris Relf found themselves as high as No. 19 in the BCS rankings before suffering consecutive losses to Alabama and Arkansas.
A showdown with Mississippi looms on the horizon.

Florida Gators: Gator Bowl, Jan. 1

After starting the season ranked in the top 10, Florida finds itself on the outside looking in after four losses this season.
Urban Meyer and Co. hope to add a solid win to their resume this weekend when they battle No. 25 Florida State.

Arkansas Razorbacks: Chick-Fil-A Bowl, Dec. 31

Early in the season Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett was on everyone's short list for the Heisman Trophy.
At this point, Mallett and the Razorbacks are just hoping to spoil LSU's fun.
A battle with the No. 5 Tigers is on deck for Arkansas.

South Carolina Gamecocks: Outback Bowl, Jan. 1

The Gamecocks have been the masters of the unpredictable this season, being the first team to knock off Alabama and also having beaten Florida.
On the flip side, SC lost to Arkansas and Kentucky.
Go figure.
Now, coach Steve Spurrier has a game with in-state rival Clemson on his hands before an SEC championship matchup with No. 1 Auburn.

Since falling from their No. 1 spot, Alabama has lost only one other time (No. 5 LSU).
The Tide have a regular brawl on their hands to end the season in the Iron Bowl, as they hope to end Auburn's national championship chances.

LSU Tigers: Allstate Sugar Bowl, Jan. 4

Les Miles and his Bayou Bengals will travel to No. 13 Arkansas this week and hope a win propels them to a BCS at-large berth.
The Tigers beat hapless Ole Miss, 43-36, to remain the only one-loss team in the Top Five.

Gene Chizik is now officially a very good coach.
In spite of all the rumors and news swirling regarding standout quarterback Cam Newton, Chizik has helped his Tigers remain focused and prepared.
The Tigers are currently still undefeated and have only Alabama in the Iron Bowl before a showdown with South Carolina in the SEC Championship Game. The Tigers beat the Gamecocks earlier in the season, 35-27.
