Carl StineNov 21, 2010

The SEC has long staked its claim to being the best conference in college football.

Owning the last four championships has established the dominance of this conference over all others.

But will that dominance continue?

That remains to be seen.

While we wait for the season to get over, here are some bowl destination prognostications for your reading pleasure.

Who will go where, and how many teams will the SEC have in BCS bowls? All that and more will be answered in the slides to follow...

Kentucky football has been nothing to write home about this season. However, with the play of wide receiver Randall Cobb, the Wildcats find themselves bowl eligible.

The Wildcats should play in the BBVA Compass Bowl against an opponent from the Big Least...oops, Big East.

With only a game against Tennessee standing in their way, expect to see the Wildcats finish the regular season on a high note and begin preparing for a trip too Birmingham.

Predicted Final Record - 7-5

A.J. Green has made his mark as possibly the best wide receiver in the country this season.

Georgia has made another mark, and it's rather painful.

The 'Dawgs will have to win next week against fierce rival, Georgia Tech, in order to become bowl eligible.

Predicted Final Record - 6-6

The Gamecocks have been the masters of the unpredictable this season, being the first team to knock off Alabama and also having beaten Florida.

Go figure.

Since falling from their No. 1 spot, Alabama has lost only one other time (No. 5 LSU).

The Tide have a regular brawl on their hands to end the season in the Iron Bowl, as they hope to end Auburn's national championship chances.
