Breaking News Rumor: Suspended UNC Players Get Rowdy at East Carolina
Eight suspended players from the University of North Carolina were out and about late Saturday evening at Pantana Bobโs in Greenville, N.C. The local bar has been known to get rowdy a time or two, especially after a Pirate victory.
The two most noticeable UNC star players in party mode were defensive linemen Marvin Austin and wide receiver Greg Little. Both were surrounded by a bevy of attractive females and ACC football seemed to be the last thing on their minds.
Little is the Tar Heels top offensive threat. Many overheard the murmurs that he would playing in UNCโs home opener this Saturday against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

What should we take away from this?
It seems to me like the UNC boys needed a break from all the hoopla and media attention that has infiltrated the Chapel Hill campus. Iโm sure most of the suspended players are peppered everyday with questions regarding the rest of the season and the current allegations.
Anyone who has visited East Carolina knows that Greenville is an ideal college town to blow off some steam, but are these guys focused on winning?
Before the scandal dropped UNC seemed poised to show the country that the Tar Heels are more than just a basketball school. Now most of their star players seemed focused on solely getting to the next level. I kind of donโt blame them. Look at the ACC this weekend.
We all know about Virginia Tech, Florida State was killed on national television and Georgia Tech underperformed against a weak Kansas team. UNC could rebound and end up in the conference championship game.
