Omar BrownCorrespondent IJuly 13, 2010

Nike and EA Sports have collaborated with Former Florida Gator Tim Tebow to unveil Florida Gators themed EA Sports x Tim Tebow Trainer 1.2 at the Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.

The event was in celebration of today's release of EA Sports' NCAA Football 11 videogame. Tim Tebow is on the cover box.

The Nike sneakers have an EA Sports logo on the blue tongue while the official NCAA 11 logo can be found on each shoe’s forefoot strap above the orange midsole.

The word Promise along with the date (September 27, 2008) the heartfelt promise was made to Gator Nation, dawns the left heal.

Tim Tebow is taking the NFL by storm, and they have not seen anything yet.

He is a marketing machine.  Tim Tebow Ranks No. 1 In NFL Jersey Sales This phenomena has not been seen since the 2006 NFL draft when Super Bowl Champ Reggie Bush was selected by the New Orleans Saints.

Tebow has accelerated past the jersey sales of such top athletes as:

Patriots: Tom Brady at No. 14, his lowest level since 2006,
Vikings: Brett Favre at No. 6
Cowboys: Tony Romo at No. 5
Colts: Peyton Manning at No. 4
Saints: Drew Brees at No. 3
Redskins: Donovan McNabb finished at No. 2

Tebow was not even a Broncos Quarterback until well into the month of April, the 22nd to be exact, and yet he still managed to kill it in jersey sales, having been ranked No. 1 for that month, and every month since.

“The Denver Broncos are getting a winner,” Urban Meyer said of Josh McDaniels new franchise quarterback. “Tim will show on the field what he is capable of doing and, more than anything, Tim has a competitive fire that will constantly push him to get better and do whatever he can to help his team win.”

John Elway did not give Brian Griese, Jay Cutler, or Jake Plummer an endorsement anywhere near the one he has given Tim Tebow.

“I’m excited; I’m excited for him, obviously he’s a great kid, great character, and a guy that’s going to work his tail off and be a great example for everybody else. He’s got the potential, he won at the college ranks, and won the Heisman, so there is talent there, there’s a want there. I think we have a great competitor so that gives us hope."

“Josh (McDaniels) has got a track record of teaching quarterbacks, and as a quarterback that’s the most important thing is to have that relationship with your head coach, and I think they’re going to have that."

“I’m looking forward to getting a little more involved and I’m looking forward to meeting Tim. We’ve texted back and forth, so he did text me when he came in town, which I thought was pretty neat, so I’m looking forward to meeting him and if I can help in any way, I’m more than glad to.”

"I've texted back and forth with him (Elway), and that's truly an honor," Tebow said. "He has been very supportive of me. He's one of the all-time best."

Has Tim Tebow emerged as the market's Holy Grail?

Tebow's agent Jimmy Sexton and his team at Athletic Resource Management, have their hands full with all Endorsement opportunities they are being Swamped with.

"Within the next five years, Tim clearly has a chance to be one of the most endorsable athletes on the planet," Sexton said. "I had one CEO of a major Fortune 500 company tell me, 'You know what, Jimmy? For a corporation to put a face on their brand, this guy (Tebow) is the real deal. He's the one guy who's not going to be a scandal two or three years from now."

Look for the EA Sports x Tim Tebow Trainer 1.2 to be released in extremely limited quantities in the very near future. Stay tuned to Sole Collector for the determined official date.
