Deshaun Watson's two-yard touchdown pass to Hunter Renfrow with one second remaining handed the Clemson Tigers a 35-31 victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship.

Alabama controlled the early portion of the game, taking a 14-0 lead. However, Clemson came back and surged ahead for the first time on Wayne Gallman's one-yard plunge at the 4:38 mark of the final frame.

Watson led the game-winning drive, which he punctuated with his third touchdown toss of the night. He finished the championship 36-of-56 for 420 yards, hitting four different receivers for at least 90 yards.
