Saban knew the offensive lineman was going through a difficult time, so he did what he could to help him through it.

After going home to be with his family during the week, the center was back with his team Saturday for an SEC showdown with Alabama.
Following the Crimson Tide's 49-30 victory, Saban—who once recruited Ragnow—sought out the junior to offer some words of support:


During his postgame press conference, Saban revealed what he said to Ragnow. While they were opponents during the game, the coach recognized the moment and was there for his fellow man.
