With the hurricane being hours away from making landfall on the eastern part of Florida, according to the Weather Channel, it has already impacted a handful of games.

The LSU Tigers and Florida Gators indefinitely postponed their matchup. The Associated Press' Mark Long reported the SEC will make the final decision as to when the two teams will make the game up.

Jim Henry of the Tallahassee Democrat initially reported the Florida State Seminoles and Miami Hurricanes had postponed their game. However, Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher said the game is still slated for Saturday, per the AP's Tim Reynolds.

The Bulldogs and Gamecocks' clash was bound to be moved eventually. On Tuesday, South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley raised her doubts about a Saturday kickoff, per The State:

"

It’s a complete decision based on the schools. As of now I can’t imagine that happening but certainly we’re going to continue to watch this. I would love nothing more than to see this take a right-hand turn and go out to sea. As it looks right now, we’re looking at Friday afternoon into Saturday being pretty brutal.

"

At least South Carolina will still host Georgia on Sunday. Last year, the Gamecocks moved a game against LSU to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, after major flooding in and around Columbia, South Carolina, left the school unable to host the event.
