Stanford 27, USC 10. Game Over.

McCaffrey ran the ball 30 times for 165 yards and a touchdown, caught four passes for 73 yards and a score while also netting 22 return yards. He was the obvious focal point of the offense, and USC struggled to adjust when McCaffrey was moved around the formation. The junior's lone receiving touchdown also came on a busted coverage by USC.
The Trojans were stifled to a modest 353 yards of total offense a 33 percent third-down conversion rate. Yet, penalties were a killer for the visitors, as they committed eight for 56 yards.
Stanford is now 2-0 and looks to be a threat to compete nationally this season, while USC tumbles to 1-2. The Trojans were outscored 77-16 by Alabama and Stanford, which is unexceptable for a traditional college football powerhouse.
