College Football's Most Important Offers of the Week
Alabama is one of the few programs in the country that have shown the ability to recruit players from around the nation effectively.
Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban has had success in recruiting far-away territories such as California.
Last week, the Tide returned to the Golden State to offers 5-star wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey.

The 5’9”, 161-pounder rates as the nation’s No. 5 receiver and the No. 21 player overall in the 2017 cycle.
Alabama joins powers such as Auburn, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas A&M and USC in offering the electric Lindsey.
According to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports, the offer got the attention of the top prospect from the Golden State.
"I'm becoming high on them," Lindsey told Wiltfong. "That offer was huge for me! The way they know how to win and produce NFL ready players."
Lindsey, who transferred from Las Vegas prep power Bishop Gorman High School to Centennial High School in Corona, California, in the offseason, caught 45 passes for 1,114 yards and 14 touchdowns as a junior.
As Wiltfong noted, Lindsey is unlikely to make a decision until he uses his official visits in the fall.
If the Tide can land one of his officials, Saban and his staff could have a shot to pull one of the elite playmakers in the 2017 cycle.
Michigan Offers Stud OL

Michigan is another program that has made a concerted effort to recruit players all across the nation.
Last week, Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh and his staff went into the state of Tennessee to offer 4-star offensive lineman Trey Smith.
As Steve Lorenz of Wolverine247 detailed, the Michigan offer is one that Smith coveted.
The 6’5”, 302-pounder—who rates as the nation’s No. 10 offensive tackle and the No. 56 player overall in the 2017 class—has more than 20 offers to his credit.
However, as Lorenz noted, Smith is intrigued by the opportunities Michigan can provide him on the field and in the classroom, which makes the Wolverines an interesting team to watch in his recruitment moving forward.
Baylor Offers In-State RB

Baylor is a school that has traditionally done the bulk of its recruiting in its home territory of Texas.
Last week, Bears head coach Art Briles and his staff tendered 4-star in-state running back Eno Benjamin.
Last year at Wylie East High School (Texas), the 5’10”, 190-pounder rushed for 2,652 yards and 41 touchdowns.
Benjamin is approaching 25 offers, with programs such as Iowa, Michigan, Texas and Texas Tech among the schools who are in the mix with him at this stage of his recruitment.
USC After In-State TE

One player from the talent-rich state of California who is starting to emerge on the recruiting scene is 3-star tight end Moses Robinson-Carr.
After earning offers last month from Oregon, Oregon State, Tennessee and Texas A&M, the 6’4 ½”, 240-pounder earned an offer from in-state power USC last week.
Over the last two seasons at Antelope Valley High School in Lancaster, California, Robinson-Carr has caught 50 passes for 656 yards and eight touchdowns.
As Ryan Callahan of 247Sports detailed, Tennessee is the school that is currently standing out for him.
However, with the Trojans now in the race, the Vols will have to work hard to maintain their lead for one of the fastest-rising prospects on the West Coast.
