Alabama Releases Statement Condemning Sign Mocking LSU Using Hurricane Katrina
Ahead of Saturday's crucial clash between LSU and Alabama, the University of Alabama spoke out against a sign at an off-campus apartment in Tuscaloosa that made light of Hurricane Katrina.
As seen in this photo posted by Travon Williams on Twitter, a large sign that read "Finish what Katrina started" was prominently displayed:

Hurricane Katrina ravaged southeastern Louisiana in 2005, claiming 1,833 lives, according to Bruce Alpert of NOLA.com.
It didn't take long for the University of Alabama to become aware of the sign, and it released a statement:
The Crimson Tide-Tigers rivalry is one of the biggest in college football, and Saturday night's game has huge implications. LSU and Alabama are No. 2 and No. 4, respectively, in the College Football Playoff rankings.
But there are some lines that simply shouldn't be crossed, and the University of Alabama deserves credit for taking a stand.
