Tennessee Volunteers vs. Alabama Crimson Tide: Live Score and Highlights
Needing a huge scoring drive to win the game, Alabama leaned on quarterback Jake Coker and its talented receiving corps before handing it to workhorse running back Derrick Henry for the go-ahead touchdown as the Crimson Tide staved off the Volunteers, 19-14.
UT had one last shot, but defensive end Ryan Anderson drilled quarterback Joshua Dobbs, forcing a fumble that A'Shawn Robinson picked out of thin air to give UA its ninth consecutive win in the series.
The Vols had several chances throughout the game, but sophomore kicker Aaron Medley couldn't convert on any of his three long field-goal attempts, leaving nine points on the field.

But the way Tennessee played proved the "Third Saturday in October" rivalry may be back.
UT used a stunning four-play drive to score a touchdown and kick the extra point to take the lead with five minutes and 56 seconds remaining on a Jalen Hurd scoring run in a drive that took 1:12 off the clock.
That's when Bama turned to Coker, who tossed back-shoulder throws to ArDarius Stewart and Calvin Ridley to move the Tide into scoring range before Henry's run. Bama played like a contender when it had to. That mentality impressed head coach Nick Saban.
"Just the way the guys competed in the game because it wasn't a pretty game for us, wasn't one of our best games, but when we needed to make plays, guys made plays, and I guess that's what it's all about," Saban told CBS Sports after the game. "It shows a lot of competitive character. This is great for our fans, and I'm really happy for our team."
