Arizona State Sun Devils to Honor Pat Tillman by Wearing Special 'PT42' Cleats

Showing respect for a soldier who sacrificed his life for his country, Arizona State will wear special cleats to pay tribute to former Sun Devils football player Pat Tillman.
On Thursday morning, Adidas unveiled the customized cleats:

Tillman was a linebacker for the Sun Devils from 1994 through the 1997 season. He was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the seventh round of the 1998 NFL draft and ended up playing four seasons in the league before enlisting in the U.S. Army. Tillman died in 2004 while serving in Afghanistan.
According to Devils Digest, these special cleats will be worn during Arizona State's game against Oregon on Oct. 29:
