Leonard Fournette Wants to Auction Jersey for South Carolina Flood Relief Effort
LSU star Leonard Fournette is not only an amazing athlete on the football field, but he is also a pretty good person off it.
After rushing for 158 yards and a touchdown in a 45-24 victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks, Fournette didn't use his postgame interview to try to hype himself or make a case for the Heisman Trophy.
Instead, he used it to show his support for a community going through a tough time.

According to Darren Rovell of ESPN, the highest bid for Fournette's jersey was more than $100,000:

Saturday's game between the Tigers and Gamecocks was originally scheduled to be played in Columbia, South Carolina. However, flooding forced the contest to be moved, with the teams ultimately agreeing to play in Baton Rouge.
In his postgame interview, Fournette delivered a great message to the state of South Carolina. Not only that, but the Tigers star also intends to auction off his game-worn jersey to help the recovery effort.
Classy move.
However, according to Ross Dellenger of the Advocate (Baton Rouge), Fournette said the NCAA will not allow him to auction off his jersey:
