Bleacher Report's Expert Picks for College Football Playoff
It's finally here.
The playoff many college football fans so desperately called for kicks off on New Year's Day.
Who will win?
No. 2 Oregon or No. 3 Florida State will be the first to punch their ticket to the national championship. The Ducks and Seminoles will square off in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, at 5 p.m. ET.
The previous two Heisman Trophy winners will try to lead their teams to victory in what should be a thrilling game. The matchup of Oregon QB Marcus Mariota vs. Florida State QB Jameis Winston has been dissected ad nauseam. We'll soon find out which one will prevail as the better quarterback.
Following that game, No. 1 Alabama will battle No. 4 Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans at 8:30 p.m. ET.
Nobody thought Cardale Jones would see playing time this year, but having led the Buckeyes to the Big Ten championship, the sophomore quarterback has proved he can shine in the big moments.
Jones will face a tough challenge competing against a Nick Saban-coached defense, though. With several weeks to prepare, there is no doubt the Crimson Tide will be ready to roll.
The question is: Can Urban Meyer outduel Saban?

Bleacher Report's experts have made picks against the spread all season long and now offer up their selections for the biggest games of the year.
