The UCLA Bruins will have a new fashion statement to make for a select home game during the 2014-15 season.
Last year, Adidas came up with a black "L.A. Midnight" look for the Bruins, and once again it has unveiled a fresh new look for UCLA to wear on the field this upcoming season. UCLA did not announce at which game the new uniform will debut.
For the first time in program history, the Bruins will have a grey uniform. The uniform uses TECHFIT Shockweb technology, which will make players tougher to tackle because it "clings tightly to the body."
Here's more on the "L.A. Steel" look, via UCLA Bruins:
The Bruins’ jerseys and pants are rendered in rich dark onyx grey and feature ultra-light metallic embellishments that shimmer, paying tribute to the bright lights of Los Angeles. UCLA’s famous shoulder stripes complement the city skyline that appears on the sleeves of the TECHFIT compression base layer and the UCLA script mark on the pants. The uniform numbers are inspired by UCLA’s own signature stripes.
