Sometimes it's best not to combine two of your great passions in life. Just as I would never try to mix burritos with sports, this particular Alabama fan should have kept his love of Sons of Anarchy and Nick Saban separate.

Bama Hammer, an Alabama blog in the Sports Illustrated network, spotted this "Sons of Saban" tattoo, and even it has some issues with it.

Here is the tattoo originally posted to this Facebook page.

Because, you know, it's not enough to love the actual football programfans now have to fall head over heels for the head coach.

Well, swoon away. Also, feel free to dedicate your entire back to the man who will one day leave the program. Nothing says, "I'll love you forever, Coach" like a gigantic back tattoo in his honor.

First, let's compare and contrast if we might. Here is the logo from the show Sons of Anarchy, featuring Death looking all threatening and stuff.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I am not a tattoo guy. While I can appreciate the better ones and consider them to certainly be artistic and wonderful, it's not something I am into.

So I ask you ink aficionados to speak up and let me know what you think of this Sons of Saban work here.

As College Spun notes, the Sons of Saban meme is a very real thing that seems to be gaining some notoriety.

There is this Facebook page with more than 5,500 likes and these images seen in a Google search that feature the T-shirts available to those who want to proclaim they are a son of Saban without the ordeal of branding themselves for life.

Some things pair wellwine and red meat, beer and burgers, booze and most anything, actually.

However, tattoos and bad judgment are still a horrible combination.
