Gophers Crack Rivals.com Incredibly Early Pre-Season Hoops Top 25

It may seem a little redonkulous that there are preliminary rankings out for next year's college hoops season, but in the age of the internet it shouldn't really seem that outlandish. But enough of the debate, Tubby Smith's Golden Gophers are ranked No. 21 in the first poll for next year courtesy of Rivals.com. Rivals quotes:

"The top eight players are back for Tubby Smith. The Golden Gophers have the tough defense part down pat. Next season, they need to become more proficient offensively."

That being said, Smith adds a powerhouse recruiting class featuring blue chippers Royce White and Rodney Williams. These two, plus juco transfer Trevor Mbakwe should be able to hold down the barn on an incredibly young team that will only get better with time. (Insert your mom joke here).
