Friday Night SEC Nuggets

Good evening everybody,

Here's a couple of news nuggets from around the SEC being reported this afternoon:

1. LSU head coach Les Miles has announced that redshirt freshman defensive back Phelon Jones will be transferring to another school. The school Jones will be transferring to was not mentioned.

2. Linebacker Brandon Fanney returned to participate in Alabama's spring practices today. Don't expect any statements from head coach Nick Saban about his return to the team until tomorrow.

3. The Kentucky Wildcats football team got a surprise visit today as head football coach Rich Brooks introduced them to new head basketball coach John Calipari (the guy making twice Brooks' salary.)
